If you live in a sunny climate, having a good bikini is kind of a year round thing, but for you cold climate dwellers, the upcoming summer season is on the horizon which means it’s a good idea to start browsing for a new suit.

For many, finding a swimsuit that makes them feel and look great is a bit of a daunting task. For me personally, I can no longer pick up a two piece at a local department store if they don’t allow mixing and matching of sizes. I won’t tell you which part of me is bigger than the other, but I need options!

A lot of the time, that leaves me spending over $100 for a bikini, which I’ve come to terms with. But a lot of companies are now offering their bathing suits as separates, while keeping the cost at a reasonable price.

A good place to start is the ever popular Victoria’s Secret. They have a ton of really great choices, and many of them clock in under $50. We love this color blocked Bandeau suit in teal and beige. This striped push up halter is also adorable, and the suit itself comes in a ton of different colors and prints. For something a little more sweet, try this adorable red and white polka dot bikini. Adorable.

If you’re staying away from a bikini and looking for some sexy one-piece options, we’ve got you covered. We LOVE this black Cole of California criss-cross tankini. Don’t let the word tankini scare you, there are options these days that aren’t the old school items that may come to mind. We also think this Anne Cole suit with ruching in the front will flatter many different body types this season.

We’re off to hit the gym for some last minute work outs before Southern California is flooded with tourists looking for an early beach season.
