But what’s sure to make your long weekend? Sipping an ice-cold margarita on a hot day at the beach. Sauza has whipped up a few recipes, the Sauza® Cucumber Margarita and the Sauza® Blueberry Margarita that couldn’t be better – they’re quick, easy to make and delicious!
Sauza® Cucumber Margarita
¾ cup Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
2 parts JDK & Sons™ O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
1 medium Cucumber, peeled and sliced
6 parts Fresh Lime Juice
2 parts Simple Syrup
To Make: In a pint glass, muddle together sliced cucumber and Sauza® Blue Tequila. Let sit in the refrigerator for one hour. Strain the cucumber Tequila and combine with all ingredients in a pitcher. Stir and serve over ice. Garnish with reserved cucumber slices and a wedge of lime. (serves 4)
Sauza® Blueberry Margaritas
6 parts of Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
1 part of JDK & Sons™ O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
1 pint blueberries
1 part agave nectar (or 1 tablespoon sugar)
Juice of 3 Limes
To Make: Wash your blueberries, reserving a few for garnish. In a shaker, muddle together blueberries and agave or sugar. Strain through a sieve into a pitcher and add the remaining ingredients. Stir and taste to adjust sweet/tart balance. Serve over ice with either sugar or salt on the rims in Mason Jars. (serves 4)
