Spring has sprung (yes, I just said that) and the weather is starting to get warmer all over the country. While maxi dresses can be a year round thing here in SoCal, some of you may be packing up those winter jackets and finally be on the search for a spring-to-summer maxi to add to your wardrobe.
We are included in this group of people, because quite frankly, we believe you can never have too many of these dresses and so it is time once again to go internet window shopping in search of the perfect dress to bring home with us one day.
To start, getting an all black maxi is pretty important. While we will definitely be adding some bright colored prints to this list, having something that can be worn day to night is essential. We love this Caslon halter from Nordstrom. Put your hair up with some red lipstick and it’s ready for a night on the town, or wear your hair in wavy curls with natural make up for a daytime look.
Victoria’s Secret also has some great and affordable options, like this chiffon-trim maxi in ‘date night pink’ which is beyond beautiful. It is definitely a fancier style, but we can still picture this at an outdoor BBQ, or a day trip to a local winery this summer.
We’re also obsessed with this striped dress by Michael Stars, and this amazing piece by French Connection. Swoon.
To us, the maxi dress is the perfect outfit that always makes us feel great. It’s easy to throw on, add some jewelry to, and feel fabulous in no time. How many other outfits can you say that about?
