WHEN ARTIST and photographer Julie Ling realized her best friend Poodle, a chihuahua who had been by her side for 12 years, was missing, she was heart-broken. For some the loss of a pet is the greatest they’ll ever know.
Slowly, Julie began drawing her way out of her heartache. The work-in-progress is a beautiful elegy to Poodle, one which Julie hopes to turn into a book for children to help them cope with similar loss.
